Dear Rhoda, apparently there was (2) Richard Thomas, one Richard Thomas born 1648, York County, VA, died 1687, Nansemond County, VA, wife Elizabeth Sanders, and another Richard Thomas, born ABT 1629, Queen's Creek, York County, VA, wife Elizabeth Marshall, married ABT 1647, Elizabeth Marshall father was Humphrey Marshall, born 1567/1608, died 1607/1689, md twice, 1st wife unk, child Elizabeth Marshall, who married Richard Thomas, 2nd wife Priscilla Thomas, no children of this marriage, Richard children was John Thomas wife Susannah Portis Frizzell, this is my line, Richard Thomas father was John Thomas, wife UNK, , (6) children born of this marriage , 1, Richard Thomas born 1629, 2. William Thomas, born 1631, wife Priscilla Jordon,3John Thomas, Jr, born 1633, wife UNK, one child John Thomas, who married Hannah Dawson, Elizabeth Thomas born 1635, married John Sanders,4.
