I have a Sopia Thomason married to a William Bryan, but I cannot connect either one to parents or siblings.I think Sophia was a sister to a Sarah Thomason whose father was Samuel Thomason.I am inferring that from a notarizeddeposition written by Arold O'Bryan stating that a Moses Sprinkle,an applicant for citizenship in the Cherokee Nation,s was Indian. Then he says that Moses father was Micajah, except he spelled it McCager, Sprinkles. The deposition was confusing, but the deposition said that Sarah Thomas ws the daughter of Samuel Thomas, a Cherokee Indian. Then Arnold says he is not kin to Moses except second cousins, and Moses derives his Inidan blood from Sarah Thoms who intemarried with Moses Sprinkles who was the applicants', Moses Sprinkles, grandfather.I think Sarah Thomas (Thomason) was the sister of Arnold's mother Sophia, but I have no proof and may be misintrepreting the depositon because it can be confusing to read. The Sprinkles are highly researched, but I haven't found as much info on the Thomasons. The Bryans, Thomasons and Sprinkles all intermarried from what I can see.
