1901 Obituary of Martin Tierney of New York

From the St. Lawrence Reublic of Wednesday, Oct. 30, 1901.............Martin Tierney, an Adirondack guide, was drowned in Upper Saranac Lake, Wednesday.His boat was found upturned at the lower end of the lake, and it is thought the boat capsized, and he was unable to swim, and sank.He was employed at Waters Camp, near Wawbeek, and his home was near Bloomingdale.He was about 45 years old and leaves a family.His body has not been found.
