Re: Pernell AlexanderTindel-Cherokee co.Tx.
I replied to a message of yours on another forum.Reading this I'm sure it is the same person, but the information that I have is a little different.I understand that Pernel Alexander Tindel (b. 1892)was the son of Alfred Franklin Tindel ( b. 1869 m. 1891 d. 1929) and Fanny King (b. 1874; d. 1918. The couple had nine children. Pernel was the oldest. The others were my grandfather, William Earnest Tindel (b. 1894
Rosie Lee Tindel (b. 1895)
James Melvin Tindel (b. 1897)
John Henry Tindel (b. 1899)
David Dudley Tindel (b. 1902
Susie Cornelius (b. 1905)
Harvey Clifton Tindel
Calvin Dean Tindel (b. 1917; d. 1999)
I have this information from the widow of Calvin Dean Tindel.I'm waiting for more information via snail mail from her daughter and son-in-law.
She said that the mother of Alfred Franklin Tindel was Mary Anne Pope and that the maiden name of Fanny King was Kloniger.Fanny King was buried in Waurika OK. She died in a fire. Her skirts caught fire while she was doing laundry. My father is W. E. Tindel Jr. who was born in 1918--only a year after Calvin Dean, the youngest son. My grandmother Martha Conrad Tindel took care of the family for a while after Fanny's death.
