As far as I know, there has never been any original document found that gives the surnames Corbin or Flowers with Pleasant Tisdale.Francis James Tisdale (son of John b. 1730 VA and Jane of Sumter)had a son named Corbin born about 1805.I recently found some interesting info from Greenville, SC:the estate of a William Tisdale was settled by John McElroy in 1818.I don't know if this was the Lt. Wm. Tisdale who died outside of New Orleans that year and was a part of the Petersburg Volenteers of VA during the War of 1812.Nearby in Greenville were Corbins and Seaborns.I am trying to track down military records because I think this is were the migratory patterns may be found.
