Researching Toenjes Brothers in St. Louis
Following is a recent e-mail sent to me by my cousin Werner Schabbehard in Bielefeld. He has a friend Herr Heinz Toenjes who so much like to find the America descendants of the two brothers who left his farm back in the 1850s. He has a very old receipt of the widow farmer sending money to her boys who lived in St. Charles, Missouri which is located on the North side of St. Louis. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Phil Shappard
