Seeking parent's names and death date of Jane TOMPKINS [TOPKINS] HUGHSON PETERS, born 31 Oct. 1745 in New York who may have lived in New York City or emigrated to Canada.

Jane married 1) Lieut. Thomas HUGHSON, [my direct ancestor] born 17 Jan. 1740 in Fredricksburg, Dutchess Co., NY, and died about 1777. He fought in the "War of the Revolution" in White Plains, Putnam Co., NY.Jane married about 1777 2) Lt. Richard PETERS, born in 1748, who also fought in the "War of the Revolution" in NY.
They had a daughter Phebe PETERS.

Thomas and Jane HUGHSON had 6 children:
Nathaniel, Cornelius Edward, Caleb, Elijah, Thomas and Levi.Levi HUGHSON, my direct ancestor, married in 1790 Naomi PARISH.
