I need to get all my information together...but I have a John Henry Tomlin in my family that was in Cherokee Co. that was from Newton, Co. in the late 1800s. These Tomlins were related to the Pipers, Sparks, and Warrens...my John Henry Tomlin was married to Annie Laura Payton. His father was James Andrew Jackson Tomlin who was a justice of the peace there. I think I remember seeing the people you listed as living in his household on a late 1800s census along with his mother...Elizabeth Warren...but I have seen the names you have mentioned and there is a connection. I just have to go check my papers. There is a story of one of the Tomlin brothers *AJ's or John Henry's* that left and was never heard from again. It was said his wife was never pleased with anything and one day he brought her a dress which she immediatley threw into the fireplace and burned it and he left. Do you have any other family member's names? Hope to hear from you soon!
