My family has lived in Hertfordshire, England for many generations. I was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire as was my father (Robert Claude Tomlin) and his father (Frederick Claude Tomlin). I have unconfirmed information that Tomlins have lived in Hertfordshire as far back as the 1600's. I'll give you further info when I find it.
