Nathan and his wife Mary Tomlinson died and are buried in Nelson NE.Mary had a stroke late in life and was cared for by Nathan.Interestingly enough he predicted his death to the day, but that's another story. If you trace the Nathan Tomlinson name far enough you'll end up in Thursby England and find the Tomlinsons there did well in the US growing tobacco. They then sent money back to Thursby and started a boys' school and later a girls' school. They were thought of very highly and have a large, bronze plaque in the Thursby church detailing their kindness.
