I don't know of a Crowtrees Farm near Chipping although I used to live not far away but there may well be one.However Lawsons lived at Crow Trees Farm, Tosside for over a century. (My Grandmother was born there). Any chance you may have the wrong village for Crow Trees?However it was my grandfather's family who maried Ellen Tomlinson from Harrop, near Holden, the daughter of Thurston.Strangely on my father's side there is also another Ellen Tomlinson from Waddington (same as the one mentioned by Stephen Pye).
