Re: Feriby Tomlinson?

From what I can tell, my Feriby was born about 1755-1757 judging from the children's ages.Her husband was John Andrews and they are in the 1790 and 1800 census in Chatham Co., NC.His fatherw as Thomas Andrews who left a will there in May 1779 and mother Susannah Unknown.

They all went to TN about 1805 and eventually on to Illinois by 1837, in Effingham Co., Fayette Co., Bond Co., and Montgomery Co., IL.

What coundy in IL did your Tomlinson's land?It is not unusual to see families moving together in fact I have several examples, however I don't think that my Andrews were Quakers, in fact I think baptist, but not 100%.
