Others have said Irene was the daughter of David Ball Tompkins also, but no one has told me what information they are using as proof.I know that David lived in Paris, Oneida Co., NY, very close to Norwich, Herkimer Co., where a county history says Irene and Nathan Towne were married.I also know that a Caleb son of Enoch who lived in the area is probably the Caleb who moved to Norwich, Ontario.I would dearly love to get more information about all this if you have it.
