My TOMPKINS line also came from Steuben Co, NY. None of the names listed in your post match mine but there still could be a connection. My William (Jr.) lived in Steuben from at least 1810 until 1835 when he and his family (including 9 children and his wife, Anna) relocated to Senecca Co, OH. His father was also William and came for Wales. I have long suspected that other parts of the family remained behind in Steuben so perhaps there's a connection. Do you know who your William's father was? I'll be glad to email you a FTM or GEDCOM file of my family.
