Ike Tompkins living around Sayre, OK abt 1890 period

I am looking for a man named "Ike" Tompkins who was living around Sayre, Oklahoma at about 1888-1892. He raised quality quarter horses (quarter racers back then) of the steel dust line. Apparently he was well known for it. I can find nothing concerning him on the internet except one interview with a Blackwell who had bought a mare from him back at that time period. Any info about him would be greatly appreciated!
