Re: William Henry Trafford, Wroxham Hall, Norfolk
Sorry, I should have explained. John Traffordhad a daughter, Anne, who married one Fisher Dilke. Their daughter Anne Dilke m 1.12.1692 Clement Boehm, and their son Sigismund Boehm assumed the name of Trafford. William Henry Trafford was his great-grand nephew, if that helps. There is a picture we bought for the Tate Gallery, by Gawen Hamilton (currently on loan to the Geffrye Museum in Shoreditch), The Ducane / Boehm Marriage Piece, which shows (stylised) portraits of Anne Dilke and Clement Boehm in the background. All of which is a long-winded way of commenting on the coincidence that my aunt Anne Trafford lives next door to the present-day Fisher Dilke!I am based in Southwark, so would be happy to meet and talk families some time if you still want to.
