One thing I have noticed in reading this post, Barbara M. seems to have had the "idea" that not only did the Williamson(#1) Trent was in TN, but THAT HIS FATHER, a William Trent was there also???
I don't know that I have seen that "thought" in the past, I wish we still had Barbara as I have always thought and / or been told and from records that ONLY the William(#2) (his original number) (the believed son of William(#1) Trent (Sr.) of Chesterfield Co.,VA) was the one moving thru SWVA and into East TN....
This.... "So, the early Trents in Hawkins Co. that we have been able to find are: William Sr., William, Jr. (also called Williamson), Alexander, Alexander (RS), and William D. (Sr.)."
seems to say that SHE also HAD the FATHER of William(#2) (who we also called Williamson(#1) Trent md. to Sarah B.) and WHO we now know by DNA testing is not / was not a blood SON of William(#1) Trent(Sr.) of VA.
SO who would Barbara M. had thought was the FATHER of our Williamson(#1) md. to Sarah B. ???SHE could NOT have meant William(#1) Trent(Sr.) md. to Ursualla as HE never left Chesterfield Co., VA.
SO WHAT? happened to the William Sr. she mentions here? Did he die in Claiborne Co., TNOR did he die WHERE???
