Three things.... his birth date is a little too late for this to work... but??
Second... are there any TN records that show him with the "R" being used by him on papers??
Third... is Louisa ?? really his wife... any details on her??
7-15)Thomas R. Trent - (b.)(d.)
-now in the past some have suggested that this is the Thomas who md. Sarah Gilbert and that he goes under Alexander H. & Mary Martin Trent of TN. I be-
lieve that in 2003 to 2007, we ( I and others on the Net ) have figured out that that THOMAS TRENT (b.ca. 1823) was the son of the mystery Alexander O. or C. Trent who md. Mary Scalf. The only way I know of really solving the “Thomas” is to figure out who the Alexander md. to Mary Scalf really belong to! Even with three Alexander’s in the 1840 records and the confusion over a middle initital in a name, we have still have a long way to go here!
