NJ TRENTS 1st. NAMED Sons:
Ok, let's look at this another way! In doing the red ink corrections for the Introduction Section, which is where they are located, we have two possible choices! One that these two individuals did not die off as young as we have assumed and that they lived long enough to marry and have at least one male child who went on also! IF WE take the most likely choice, the 1st. named son of our Major-Capt. William Trent (Jr.) of NJ-PA the this William Trent:
3-1)William Trent - (b.5-28-1754)(d. young ??)
(I wonder if he did live and did marry and have children? I have found no firm death date for him!)
-parents were (Capt.)-(Major) William (Jr.) & Sarah (Wilkins) Trent of PA
-born opposite the mouth of Nills Creek in PA
-Wm. was baptized by Mr. Hamilton, Chaplain to ______ Regiment
-died in ______________ ata young age ___ -(supposedly)
-buried in ______________ Cemetery in ___________
-William md. (?) _____________________________ of __
(b.)(d.)
-parents were ___________________________
of __
-born in ___________
-died in ___________ at age ___
-buried in ____________ Cemetery in ______
-they were md. _____________ in _________
-they had ___ children:
4-?) names, dates:
-need details!
could have lived long enough to do that..... HE is not mentioned in the WILL of our Capt. William Trent, but neither do we, nor have I ever seen a firm, proven DEATH DATE for him! IF he lived and did not die young, a fact which I picked up in my research but not proven by stone or noted fact in history, then he could have lived, married, fathered at least one son who also married and gave us a James Trent line of PA!
The other possible choice in this matter is the 1st. born son of our old (Col.) & Judge William Trent of PA, tho I believe we would need a few more generational connected names to be found in order to tie HIM to the James Trent of PA who some one has in the past claimed to be a descend of one of these men and thus built their lineage lines on that individual........
2-1)James Trent - (Sr.) - (b.1679)(d.1735)
-he was appointed Administrator of his father’s estate as he had left no Will,as noted by Samuel Bustill, Surrogate of Western Division, Province of NJ.
-he received approval for a Ferry either two miles above or below the Delaware Falls from Gov. Burnet on 2-7-1726. He would sell the ferry on 5-28-1729, as well as the family home, later called “Bloomsbury Court” to a Mr. William Morris on 3-28-1729.
-“the administration of the estate of William Trent (Sr.), deceased, unadministrated by a James Trent of Philiadelphia, also deceased, is hereby granted on 10-21-1734 to Nathaniel French of Philiadephia, Merchant, as the principal creditor”. (see pg. #xxxii for his connection to this James Trent)
-parents were (Col.) & Judge William (Sr.) & Mary (Burge) Trent of Scotland
-born in Inverness or Edinburgh, Scotland, England
-died in America at age 66
-buried in ______________ Cemetery in _____________
-at one time he is shown as having lived in Burlington Co., NJ and he probably died in America, tho his WILL names his mother as his Heir....
-James (Sr.) md. ________________________________ of __
(b.)(d.)
-parents were _____________________________ of __
-born in _________ , Co., PA
-died in _________ at age ___
-buried in ____________ Cemetery in __________
-they were md. ___________ in ___________
-they had ___ children:
3-?) names, dates?
-need more details!
SO if we look at those two possible choices and based on the data we do have, which must include NO KNOWN or FACTUAL DEATH DATES for either one, we might not be too far out of line to assume(?) that one of these is a connection.......... Thoughts>>>>
