Hello, P. Donahoo, I think we are very distant cousins. John Trigger (married Mary Quick) was my 3rd g.g. They immigrated to the US (Ford County, IL) and had a son William. They also had a son Richard (my 2nd g.g.) Richard married Elizabeth Stoves and had a son John (my g.g.) John married Ellen Dodd and had a daughter Ethel Trigger (my grandmother). I don't have any information on William or his descendents, but it sounds as though you are descended from that line. If you have any information you can send me on that line (at kwathome@twcny.rr.com), I may have some information that will help you. Is your family farm in Ford County? I grew up just north of there in the Kankakee area. I remember visting my grandmother Ethel Trigger's farm in Ford County when I was very young. She died in 1961. Thanks in advance for any information.
