Re: Need photos of Trombley Brewery Bay City, Michigan

Photos of this age period are hard to find. I have historical interest in the Trombley's associated with Bay City, for adding information to http://bay-journal.comhttp://bay-journal.com. It has a lot of biographical histories on the Trombleys.

Using GoogleBooks, I found two directories...

1868 Bay City directory listed a Daniel as a grocer, home at 1117 Bowery St. He appeared again in the 1875 Michigan Gazette business directory as saloon owner located on Water St., between 10th and 11th.

The in the 1883 Bay City directory I found Alexander Trombley as mineral water manufacturer, located at n.e. corner of First and Jefferson street.

Anothe good contact for genealogy related to Bay City, is the Bay County Genalogy Society, and they have volunteers that work in the research room of the library.
