The Tromble are a part of Bay City's earlist history. The first white to settle in this area was Leander Tromble (1810-58), son of Thomas and Cecila (Yax) Tromble, of Detroit, who came to Michigan from Canada. Following him were his two nephews, Joseph and Medor, who built the first frame structure here, about 1839. That same homestead is still standing, and a landmark in Bay City. I'm including a link to what I have so far on the Tromble's associate with Bay City's history. The page also includes links to individual biographies.

I'd like to learn more about the bottling factory, would appreciate having pictures of the bottle artifacts that your sister has, if this is possible. It may be possible that the building where they made them is standing. If so, I'd be glad to take a picture of it for you.
Thanks,
