Soldier; pre-United Empire Loyalist pioneer, and founder of the Canadian Branch of the family in Nova Scotia. b.1713, d.1776.Apparently he married Catherine Church in 1756.. Massachussett's, presumably of the family of Colonol Benjamin Church, referred in many early Colonial historical records as the "Indian Fighter".
There is no notation on the birthdate or death; however ther are 10 offspring Their second child was Jacob, b.1758, m. 1774 to Anna b.11/30/1758.She was the 9th child and the daughter of Abner Morse.One grandson was the Honorable Jacob Valentine Troop, M.P.P., N.B. b. 1808 to 1809 in Upper Granville.He married Catherine Fellows in 1838.
