John Trover (Revolutionary War) and George Trover of Beaver Co., PA
I was recently told that John Trover, who fought in the Revolutionary War was the father of George Trover of Beaver Co., PA, who fought and died in the War of 1812. The story told me was supposedly read in a county history.
"John Trover and 3 sons moved from the area to Kentucky. One son, George Trover stayed settled in Beaver Co., PA. One of John's other 3 sons was supposedly burned at the stake by 'indians'."
I searched all Beaver CO., PA county histories, and came up blank. Does anyone have ideas? Does anyone know what happened to John Trover's other sons?
