Hi Sharron,
The family did remain in Bastrop County, at least until 1880. Francis was the head of household in the 1860 census.

The census indexer lists the family as "Trost". I haven't found them in 1870 but they are in Bastrop county in 1880, where Thomas Ransom is the Constable.
