I just posted info on a Joseph T. TUNNICLIFF born in 1840 PA.My Joseph had at least one sibling, a brother William who at some point lived in Marietta, OH.
I have no info on the parentage of my Joseph Thomas TUNNICLIFF but have suspected the parents were of English origin as I have looked for him.
My info as I believe it to be correct:
H: Joseph Thomas TUNNICLIFF
B: 1840 PA
M: 29 Jan 1877 Yalobusha, MS
D: 10 Oct 1905 Mena, AR
Military:Civil War:Served between 19 June 1861-24 June 1864 in 5th Ohio Infantry as a Private.
W: Mary HARDEN
B: Feb 1858 Yalobusha, MS
D: 19 Feb 1946 Los Angeles, CA
In the "US National Homes forDisabled Volunteer Soldiers, 1866-1938", Joseph is listed as Married but shows "nearest relative" as a brother William TUNNICLIFF living in Marietta, OH.This same document indicates that Joseph died of Bright's Disease while on furlough to Mena, AR where, presumably, he was with his wife and family.
Joseph was Mary HARDEN's second husband,Her first husband was Jessee HAVENS and they had a son, R.L. HAVENS.A third husband was J.J. WILLIS.
Joseph and Mary TUNNICLIFF had 5 children.
Mary Ann (Mollie) b: 27 Oct 1877 in MS, Elizabeth "Lizzie" Belle b: 1884 OK, Willie Katheryn "Katie" b: 24 June 1888 Wamble/Mena, AR (my direct line), Josephine "Jo" Willis, b: 1889 AR, and William Thomas "Tom" Tunnicliff b: 3 Jun 1892 in OK.
If you believe this may be your line or some connection, please contact me!!!
