Jasper Melchior Turner moved to Anson Co from Wake Co, NC. He and Augustus Balthasar Turner witnessed the will of William Utley Sr in Wake Co. A scan of the original will at Archives with the Turner signatures can be found at http://members.nbci.com/fcharper/wuwill.htmlhttp://members.nbci.com/fcharper/wuwill.html
William Utley's wife Elizabeth is believed to have been a Turner, but as far as I know, there are no records that prove that she was.

Jordan Woodward also moved to Anson Co from Wake Co. The Woodwards, Utleys, and Turners all lived near each other in the Middle Creek district near what is now known as Holly Springs south of Raleigh. All three families intermarried.
