Larry:
I'm happy to have been able to help you with your Turrell family. From some early newspapers I ordered on inter-library loan I recorded all Turrells. The following are for your David O's family.
In Liberty on 7 April 1850 by Rev. Francis D. Ladd, Mr. Munson Peck of Franklin married to Miss Hannah E. Daughter of David O. Turrel of Liberty.
In Forest Lake, on 26 June 1848 by Elder Jas. D. Webster, Mr. John D. Turrell, of Liberty and Miss Permela E. Thomas of Choconut was married.
In Liberty, on 13 January 1853 by Elder J.W. Parker, Mr. William M. Bailey married Miss Laura M., dau. of David O. Turrell Esq all of Liberty, Susquehanna County.
I am not sure if the following is your family but they are from Lawsville where yours were from.It is:
Married on 7 Sept 1831 by Elder D. Dimock, Mr. David Watson, to Miss Hannah Turril, both of Lawsville.
The following letters were in the post office at Montrose waiting to be picked up:1 April 1830 and 1 July 1830 for David O. Tirrell (Turrel). On 30 June 1827 for David O. Turrell and Urania Turrell.
ae is an abbreviation for age.
I hope this will be of some help to you.My Turrells lived in Bridgewater, Susquehanna and then moved to Michigan in about 1835.Caleb was the father of David and William C. Turrell. They were originally from Chittenden Co., VT and before that New Milford, CT.
