I would like to correspond with anyone who has info, is researching, or is a descendant of:
Robert and Margaret Twaddle/Twadle/Tweedle who arrived in the U.S. between about 1837 and 1841.The first I’ve been able to find them is in the 1850 Census of Philadelphia.I have been unable to find them in 1860, but Margaret, the wife, is in the 1870 Census of Philadelphia, as head of household, and in 1880 living with her married daughter Margaret’s family.
My connection is their daughter Ellen, born 1852 in Moyamensing or Philadelphia, PA.Ellen married David Magill in about 1875.Ellen Tweedle and David Magill are my great-grandparents.
