Tylich Siblings: Frank, Joe, Willie and Frances
From what I understand, my grandfather Frank Louis Tilich was the last living child of :
Emil Tylich and Rosina (Holec, Holick) Tylich residents of Schulenburg, Texas.
There children were: I am guessing this is the correct order, but an not sure:
Frances Tylich (who married a Mr. Ulrich and moved to San Antonio, Texas)
Joe Tylich (who married a Miss. Janak and moved to Houston, Texas)
Frank Louis Tylich (who married a Miss. Mary Jane Pecha and moved to Houston, Texas)
and Willie (Bill) Tylich (who remained in Schulenburg and never married or had any children).
I am assuming that Willie was the youngest child, because my grandfather always referred to Willie
as his younger brother, and he always referred to Joe as his older brother. When mentioning
his sister, he never really gave an age for her, but I assume she was the oldest, because my
grandfather said she was the first to get married.
Through obituaries, I have been able to find out that: Emil and Rosina Tylich as well as their son
Willie Tylich are burried in the Schulenburg Cemetery.I do not know where Joe Tylich or
Frances Tylich Ulrich are burried. My grandparents Frank andMary Tilich, as well as their only
child (my mother) Dorothy are all three burried at Brookside Memorial Park, in Houston, Texas.
My grandfather Frank Louis Tylich changed his last name to Tilich, shortly after moving to Houston,
I assume this was done so that he could have better luck finding a job (Due to prejudice's maybe),
however, I could be wrong about this.My grandfather passed away in the year 2000, he was
92 years old.
