Hello again Ken - Here's some detail on these two cemeteries; I'll email an attachment to you of my summary of these, which is much more.:
(1)The Upshaw Family cemetery: from intersection of GA Hwy 17 & 72, so SW on hwy. 72 about 1 & 1/2 miles, turn right (north) off hwy 72 onto unnamed dirt road, go over bridge crossing over Seaboard Railroad line, turn left & go 300 yards to fork, bear right, go about 300 yards to GA Power Co. right-of-way. Proceed on foot NE along GA Power Co. right-of-way (lines overhead), until crossing small branch of Dove Creek; after crossing creek, bear due east into woods about 200 yards to cemetery site, covered with perriwinkle & honeysuckle groud cover. Got your coordinates on this one and will plug into googleearth and see how that looks.
(2) Piney Grove Colored Methodist Church: Same as above, except, proceed UNDER the GA Power Co. right of way (lines overhead)for 2/10 mile to cemetery site on the left (west) side of road, 100 feet into pine woods. This is the location of the Piney Grove Colored Methodist Church (and cemetery), as identified on the 1905 Elbert Co. map.
Thanks, Ted in Cumming, GA
