Looking for anything on Hattie UPDEGRAF

I am searching for my great grandmother Hattie Updegraf. All I know of her is she may have been born in the Great Lakes area, she married Johann Gottlieb SCHMIDT at the age of about 14 years. My grandfather, their son, was born in Alingly, Saskatchewan, Canada. Hattie and her 4 children (there were 5 siblings total) moved to the United States on 10 Jan 1919. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
