Re: Susanna URIE 1777 PA & John MARTIN

Several months after posting this message, I discovered data that changes the last two paragraphs.

Where I previously stated:
"John and Susan with about four children
[possibly Margaret, Samuel, Susanna and
Rachel] left the York Co. area around 1805
and headed for Belmont Co., OH. There they
had children Joseph, Jacob, Angeline [Anne],
Rebecca and one of unknown gender who died
young.
Susan may have died in Belmont Co., OH about
1816-1817."

...my data now indicates the following to be more nearly correct.
"John and Susanna with about seven children
[possibly Samuel, Margaret, Susanna, Rachel, Joseph, Angeline and Jacob] left the York Co. area around 1817
and headed for Belmont Co., OH. Susanna may have died in Pennsylvania about 1817 or in Belmont Co., OH about 1818."

In 1819 John Martin remarried to Margaret Messencope, indicating that Susanna Urie had died.
