I know this is an old message but I was interested in seeing if you had any more info on the Elizabeth McConnell you mentioned married to Solomon Urie? Did this couple come to Washington co PA also?
My GGG grandmother was a Elizabeth McConnell born about 1805 in Florence, Washington co PA. She married a Samuel Ralston & they are buried in Weirton, Hancock co, WV right next to Washington co PA area. I have not had any luck finding out who her parents were yet but know there were several McConnell families in the area at that time period.
Do you know if Solomon Urie & Elizabeth McConnell were married at?
My Samuel's father's brother sold land to a Robert Ralston
he had a son named Robert who would only have been 3 or 4 when the land sale was done so I don't know if it was to his son Robert or the a Robert Ralston who married Mary Chapman in Brooke Co. in 1824 (Brooke became Hancock co. abt 1848 then West Virginia abt 1860's)
