John Summers & Sarah Utley Davis Summers

His name may have been Summer or Summers. He was born Jan 1831 in Bullitt Co. and died Nov 11, 1884 in Mississippi Co., MO. He was married to Sarah Utley Davis after 1855 and before June 4 1871. Sarah's first husband was Caleb H. Davis. John and Sarah met and married in Mississippi Co., MO. She and Caleb Davis had moved their from Hopkins CO., KY. Caleb died in 1855 in MS CO., MO. They had one son John Davis who married Sarah Barnhill.

John and Sarah had at least 4 children, 3 who died in childhood Jinnie, Stephen and William. Their youngest child Susan Lee Summers was born June 4 1871. She was my great grandmother. She married George Calhoun son of Uriah and Mildred Taylor Calhoun. The Calhoun family was originally from Christian CO., KY and moved to Mississippi Co., MO between the 1870 and 1880 Census. They lived in a community outside of Anniston, MO called Hocake.

I want to know who John's parents were and if he was married before he married Sarah Utley Davis.
