Shubal Vale

My greatgrandfather is Shubel(Shubal) Vail (vale) he married Phebe Potter in Ohio They had a daughter Opal, my grandmother. Three more daughters, Lucy, Emma and Carrie. Shubel is the son of Arron and Sarah Vail of Middletown Ohio. I have some information that Arron had Shubel was adopted in 1853. I can't find anything regarding this. Arron also had sons Daniel and Joseph. Would appreciated any information regarding this family.
