Vale, Levi

My ancestor Levi Vale married Elizabeth Williams, dau. of Jesse Williams. He witnessed a Montgomery Co., VA marriage in the 1780s and then moved to Knox Co. Ky where he shows in the records to about 1818 and then he disappears. His wife lived with their daughter and son in law, Rachel Vale and Jacob Engle. No one has found his parents..and I have wondered if he is connected to Solomon Vale of Va...any help appreciated...
