Nancy,
Abram had no will nor did Betsy. I still have not found her exact death date but she was clsoe to 100 years old. The proof of generations consists of:
1. A genealogy started by my great Uncle, Jess VanDelinder. He was killed in WW2 and never finished it.
2. Church records - Salt Lake film # 1002781 batch c51067-1.
3. census records of Granby, Oswego, NY
4. Scott VanDelinder - lost track of him after college when I moved a couple of years ago.
5. Chapman genealogy by Ruth Thayer Ravenscroft - 1945 hand typed.
I do NOT have any old Bibles, etc. I started from scratch, mostly military records. The DAR thought it was good enough for Gerardus to be one the Patriot Index but there is no one document. I am not sure of the second John VanDelinder b. 1838. I tried to track him down but nobody responded to my mail, etc.
I do have the will for Ebenezer Chapman and will post it if you like.
Russ
