William Vannoy & Mary Salle? Wilkes & Surry County NC

In hopes of finding more information on William Vannoy’s wife Mary, possible Sallee, I have started to trace her father Pierre (Peter) Sallee’s timeline.Below is what I have so far. I would like to find out where Peter went after he left Surry and Wilkes County NC. I have seen posting that he died in Athens, Tennessee, but no mentions was given on the source.
