I am researching a Fisher family.
First ancestor was John Fisher, Quaker, who came to Bucks Co., Pa., from Cumbeland, England in May 1700, his son Joseph, his son Joseph, his son Amasa was the father of Hartzel Fisher.
Amasa Fisher was a physician first in Columbiana Co., Ohio, then to Mahaska Co., Iowa where he was a Disciples of Christ minister as well as a physician until his death in 1878.
Hartzel Fisher married Alice Hartzell youngest daughter of Jonas Hartzel. They had 2 children Horace and Robin Van Patten Fisher.
I know quite a bit about the Hartzell family.
Do you have any information about Hartzel and Alice Hartzell Fisher and their two children.
I can't seem to find anything about Robin Van Patten. Horace went to Portland, Oregon. Alice went with him and died there. I have the dates. Hartzel died in Kansas City, Mo. in 1909 of stomach cancer.
I would appreciate any information you may have about them.
Hartzell was the brother of my great grandfather Marcus Fisher.
