I have a Vaughn born abt. 1825 in North Carolina. He married Elender________ b about 1829 in Tennessee.

His son, our connection.Jefferson E Vaughn b. 1855 in TN and died abt 1920 in Mo.Around Oregon County.

This infor is from George H Downing JRgeneology. He got from the 1880 census from Oregon Co. MO and the 1910 census.

If anyone has anything to contribute I would sure appreciate the information.
The folks who remember grandma "Mandy" feel sure there is some Native American decent in there.I have a blockbefore Jefferson Vaughn.I sure would like to find a connection.
