Re: Veinot -- Nova Scotia
You certainly have a lot of information.I will need to look at it more closely.I have a site at www.familytreemaker.com/users/m/u/r/Susan-E-Murphy/Index.html.However, most of the information is on my father's side.Veinot comes from my mother's family. My mother's mother was Leona Croft b. 1901 who married Robert Andrew Harnish. Her mother was Mary Ellen Veinot who married Al---- Croft. My mother believes that she was very young when my grandmother was born 16-18 years.Leona was an only child. Her mother, Mary Ellen, was one of five girls and no boys.My mother, Madelyn Catherine Harnish Barber (christened Catherine Madeline) was born in Liverpool. They moved to East Boston, then Glocester, MA when she was in grade school.I have had little luck in getting beyond her parentage in my search.
By the way, another woman I have been corresponding with regarding "Croft" has connections through "Zwicker" which is also on your list. Also, my mom told me that the "Whynots" lived at the end of her street when she was little and often visited.
I'll check your site more closely, but this must be part of the families you have listed.
