Don't know whether you have this info or not. William G. Venable, Sr. was a Confederate Soldier, AL 35th Infantry, Company G. His widow Mary Elizabeth (Sudberry) Venable applied for a pension. Pen. #W4211 in Williamson Co., TN. The info in the application states that the widow was born in 1840 in Virginia. William G. Venable was born in 1829 in Marshall Co.,TN. He married Mary Elizabeth Sudberry in Marshall County in 1865 and died in 1899 in Williamson Co., TN. I have been told that he is buried in the Burwood Cemetery in an unmarked grave.

I know that Callie Venable who married William Alexander Huff was a cousin of Alsenia Venable who married Fate Ashworth of the Burwood Community. Alsenia (Senie) had a brother named Robert (Bob) Venable. Senie's father was William G. Venable, Jr. and her mother was Susan Marlin Venable. Susan Marlin Venable was born 3-28-1855 and died 9-21-1939 and is buried in the Burwood Cemetery. Information given to the funeral home was by R. C. Venable (Son).
Robert C. Venable was born 12-12-1882 and died 9-28-1964 and is buried in the Burwood Cemetery. He attended the Burwood Methodist Church,I knew him. I also knew members of the Ashworth family.
