Caroline, thank you for putting up your message, I'd almost given up hope of making a connection with other Verity's.
What an amazing connection... so your husband and my Father(Norman) had the same Gt Gt Grandparents ... thats scary!
When I read your email I rang my Mother and asked her to check with Dad (now 96) to see what else he can remember. The only sibling of William we didn't have listed was Ethel (who you list). However my Mother remembers Auntie Ethel (sister to William) and is going to write to me with whatever she can remember. She mentioned that Dad always joked that several of Williams siblings died of the drink (our info is that 13 were born but only the eleven (as per your list) survived.
Mum also mentioned who Ethel married and what happend etc so I'll communicate that as soon as Mum writes.
Caroline, naturally I'm interested to know more about your Husband .. this sort of makes us relatives doesn't it.
I'm writing from Australia, when Dad retired from the RAF we emigrated to Australia in 1969.My Mother's maiden name is Hackemer which of course rolls out another layer of names.
Anyway if your happy to communicate I'd like to hear from you.Happy to give you my own email address if your comfortable with that or happy to continue through Geneology
