Re: Veronee Updates?
Suzette and Norma (long time no chat, my old friend),
I think the individual you're looking at is shown in the 1930 Belton, Anderson County, South Carolina Census
ED 9, page 6A, taken on April 7, 1930 and living on Popular Avenue. They were renting their home for $800 per month.William Frank Veronee is listed as Frank W. Veronee. He was 30, working as a mechanic in a repair shop. He's listed with his wife, Elizabeth, 26, and their two children at the time Sarah, 9 and Bettie, 2-7/12
Frank W. and Elizabeth were married in 1919.This looks like the classic case of "I know what name my parents gave me and I know what name I choose to use."
If I'm correct, William/Frank is the son of William Franklin Veronee and Lucinda (Cinnie) Cosby, grandson of Cornelius B. Veronee and Eleanor A. Scott.Hope this helps.
