I tend to discount the opinion that John Wesley Viers was the father of Daniel VIERS Sr.First of all, John Wesley VIERS did not come to MD until 1720.Also, the French Hugenouts who came to Va in 1700 listed on Jacques VOYE and also there is mention of a Baesel VOYER as receiving grain for himself and his family.Then, very shortly, most of the French Hugenouts moved to Maryland due to an outbreak of Cholera.I don't think it's coincidental that the name Baesel was used in the Maryland VIERS family.
