Very interesting!My father's name was Vinton, and he was named after his grandfathre, also named Vinton Jay Finch.He was born 19 APR 1866 in Pennsylvania.I always wondered where the name came from, and this could be it.His father was John Jay Finch, so that's where his middle name came from.
