Viveash family in Australia's Northwest in the 1800s
I am directing a research project in Western Australia's Northwest into the earliest pastoral stations. One of the stations we we have recorded the archaeological record was called Inthanoona (and other spellings) and I was hoping someone may know more about the Viveash family in that region. Battye's 'History of the NW' (1915:221) states that Mr. S.H. Viveash had the station from 1857 (a date which is too early by several years). Any information would be very helpful for a paper beingwritten on the topic. If any family member has family letters from that place, especially from the 1800s, I would love to see them.
