No, we're part of the Protestant branch. I think that family "split" happened in the
1800's.I unfortunately can't remember much
detail on the research Mom had done in the
'70's and '80's.I can get the boxes from my Dad and dig around for info, when I have the time, sometime!How neat that you worked with Mother Theresa!WOW.I am grateful I do not feel any breaches over religion, nowadays.(We grew up Presbyterian; another branch on my Dad's side of the family included many ministers, by the last name of Hamilton.) When I get around to digging into the geneology boxes, I will be posting more info and inquiries here. I remember Mom getting a letter in the late '70's from a student at a university somewhere in the south, a new Voiland contact. He wrote that he felt like writing in letters a mile high in the sky, "THANK YOU!" for contacting him.He was so surprised and happy to hear from a new faction of Voilands, out of the blue.I can't remember his first name!
