I'm sorry it took me so long to respond.I do have a little information on the Joan vorderbruegge family of Neukaunitz parish.
I have this on my husband's side:
Anna Catharina Blankenaufulland born abt. 1772
m 1) Heinrich Hansmeyer
m 2) Christoph JOAN VOR DER BRUEGGEN probably from Verl.
After this marriage Christoph went by the Blankenaufulland name. But his death record reads Christoph Blankenaufulland geboren Joan vor der Brueggen.
Marriage record in Verl Parish that reads:Jahre 1809, Junius, 21
Christophorus Joann Vor der Brüggen, Viduus de Conjuge Elisabeth Siggemann inquis Sonneborn et Anna Maria Blankenau fuland, Vidua de Joann Hen: Hansmeyer, rebono? Blankena fulland.
This says that Christoph Joann Vor Der Brüggen was a widower of Elisabeth Siggemann or Sonneborn -- and he married Anna Maria Blankenau fulland, a widow of Joan Henrich Hansmeyer, also known as Blankenaufulland.
Anna Catharina Blankenaufulland died in Jan of 1822.Christopher Joan Vor der Brueggen married again. At this time, he was dismissed to Neukaunitz parish. All the above were in the Verl parish records.
His death record (LDS Film # 1185458), from Neukaunitz Parish, Year 1834 -- Christophor johan vor der Brueggen, Leibsuchter Oelgeschlager in Liemke. His age was 58.He left a Ehegattin (wife) and ein minoren Kind.
Found an early marriage record in Verl parish records:January 19, 1762 --Viduus (widower) Joann Henrich Joann vor der Brueggen et. Maria Anna Floetemeyr.Witnesses were Joann Henric. Kersting auf der heyde et Joes Henric. > bey Joann vor der Brue.
The records earlier than 1800 are not indexed, so I just happened on that one.I did pretty well when it was indexed, but now it is very slow going.I have to admit, I burned out a bit and haven't looked at the German records for about a year.
In addition, I found a Joes Heinrich JOAN VOR DER BRUEGGEN, born FEb 24, 1783 in Verl.I believe he might be a brother to Christoph above. He had a son Joes Otto JOAN-VOR-DER-BRUEGGEN in 1803.I didn't not keep going on that line, since it wasn't the direct one, but I should probably follow up at some point.
I think that you are probably related to my husband.
